We're an offshore vendor too, based in Vietnam, building for clients in the US and Europe. So we have the same incentive to tell you it's always worth it but we're not going to. The honest answer is that offshore is worth it for some situations and a genuine mistake in others, and you deserve to know which one you're in before you spend a dollar. Here's the version we'd give a friend, including the parts that don't help us.
